Product detailed description

4in1 Saliva Drug Test - JoyTest - 1 pc

JOYTEST 4in1 is a clear and easy-to-use home saliva test that helps quickly screen for the presence of 4 commonly monitored substances: marijuana, kratom, nicotine metabolite and alcohol. It is suitable for situations where you need basic information in a simple, discreet way and without urine collection or complicated equipment.

The test can be used, for example, for home preventive checks, suspected recent substance use, abstinence monitoring, family settings, personal control or wherever a quick screening result is needed. The result is qualitative – it shows whether the substance is likely to be present above the test cut-off level, or in the case of alcohol, provides an indicative result according to a colour scale.

Why choose a saliva test? A saliva test is especially useful when you need quick screening information about possible recent use or current exposure. Sample collection is simple, non-invasive and more comfortable than urine collection – no cup, sample handling or additional tools are required. Simply place the absorbent part of the test in the mouth and allow it to absorb enough saliva.

Compared with a urine test, a saliva test is often more practical for quick “here and now” checks. Urine is generally better for a broader screening window from hours to days after use, while saliva is more often used when the aim is to get a simple overview of recent contact with a substance. The exact detection time always depends on the substance type, amount used, frequency of use, metabolism, oral hygiene, fluid intake and other individual factors.

With this 4in1 test, saliva collection is practical because one test can monitor marijuana, kratom, nicotine exposure through cotinine, and alcohol in an indicative way. The alcohol indicator is colour-based and is intended for quick screening, not for precise measurement of blood alcohol level.

Tested substances: THC (marijuana), KRA (kratom), COT (nicotine metabolite / cotinine), ALC (alcohol)

Sample type: human saliva

Before testing: Do not eat, drink, chew gum, use tobacco or nicotine products, drink water or rinse your mouth for at least 10 minutes before the test. Prepare the test, a timer and a clean place for result interpretation.

Short procedure: Remove the test from the pouch, take off the cap and place the absorbent part of the test in the mouth. Keep it in the mouth until saliva starts moving through the marked test strip area. Then remove the test and place it on a flat surface. Read the test strip result between 5 and 10 minutes. Read the alcohol indicator within 1 minute after saliva reaches the observation window. Do not read the test strip result after 10 minutes.

Overview of tested substances and cut-off levels

Substance Abbreviation What the test monitors Cut-off level
Marijuana THC substance/metabolite related to marijuana use in saliva 15 ng/ml
Kratom KRA mitragynine, the main monitored kratom compound 100 ng/ml
Nicotine metabolite COT cotinine, the main nicotine metabolite 50 ng/ml
Alcohol ALC alcohol in saliva, indicative colour scale from approx. 0.02%

Short explanation of the substances

  • Marijuana / THC – the test screens for a substance or metabolite related to cannabis use in saliva. A saliva test is especially useful for quick screening when recent use is suspected.
  • Kratom / KRA – the test monitors mitragynine, one of the main compounds found in the kratom plant. Kratom may have stimulating or sedative effects depending on the amount and individual response.
  • Nicotine metabolite / COT – cotinine is the main nicotine metabolite. It may indicate nicotine exposure, for example after smoking, vaping, nicotine pouch use or another form of nicotine intake.
  • Alcohol / ALC – the alcohol indicator is used for indicative detection of alcohol in saliva. The result is compared with a colour scale and does not determine the exact blood alcohol level.

How to read the test strip result

Negative result: A control line C appears and a test line T also appears for the given substance. Even a very faint T line is interpreted as a negative result.

Positive result: A control line C appears, but the test line T for the given substance does not appear. This means the test has screened for the presence of the substance above the cut-off level.

Invalid result: If the control line C does not appear, the test cannot be interpreted. In this case, a new test must be used.

How to read the alcohol indicator

The alcohol indicator is evaluated according to the colour change of the reaction pad. Compare the resulting colour with the colour scale on the packaging or in the instructions for use. The scale is intended only for an indicative estimate of the relative alcohol concentration in saliva.

Important: A positive or colour-changed alcohol indicator does not mean an exact blood alcohol level and cannot be used as an official alcohol measurement. The result may be affected by alcohol residues in the mouth, alcohol vapours, some disinfectants, perfumes, deodorants, cleaning agents or products containing alcohol.

Good to know

The test provides quick screening information. It does not determine the exact amount of a substance, exact time of use, level of impairment or method of use. The result may be affected by factors such as the amount used, frequency of use, metabolism, saliva sample quality, oral hygiene, fluid intake and individual differences between people.

A negative result does not rule out that the substance was used – it may be below the test cut-off level or outside the appropriate detection window. If the result is important for official, employment-related, school-related or legal purposes, it should be verified by a specialized laboratory method.
